Maxine King

Maxine King is a chartered accountant with over fourteen years experience in the finance industry. She specialises in the areas of risk, asset & liability management, compliance and auditing.

Maxine holds an Honours Degree in Management Studies, a Master of Science in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration. She is a council member of the Gerson-Lehrman Consulting Group of the USA, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, and a member of the Financial Managers Society of the USA.

She has held senior management positions in Clico Investment Bank and Caribbean Airlines, and her most recent position has been General Manager of the Diego Martin Credit Union.

Cole Patrick

Cole Patrick, Executive Manager Business Development, works toward the growth of Firstline’s business projects and corporate clientele. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Manitoba and is a Certified Financial Planner.

With over twenty years consulting and executive experience in the financial services sector, Cole has raised funds for business ventures in the commercial and capital markets and provided management support and advice to small and medium-sized businesses. He provided facilitation to the Cooperative Credit Union League and the Central Finance Facility of Trinidad and Tobago and has served as the Moderator for Commercial Lending for the Institute of Banking & Finance.

Dalia King

Dalia King is an attorney-at-law and our company secretary. She holds an LLB(Hons) from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

In keeping with our mandate to be a progressive financial services provider, Dalia ensures that our internal policies remain compliant with both local and international regulations and she advises the Board on issues of corporate governance.

Suzette Marquis

Suzette Marquis is our Risk & Research Analyst. She has over eighteen years experience in the financial services industry and dedicated herself for eight years to personal banking with a portfolio management specialisation.

It will be good for you to know that when it comes to your investments, your projects and your life goals, Suzette believes in a research philosophy that meshes “slow & steady” with “out-of-the-box”. She covers all bases and it works for her. It works for us.

Ihsan Slater

Ihsan Slater has thirteen years experience in the financial services sector with expertise in personal finance and accounting. Very customer-oriented, Ihsan is an account executive with the firm. She holds an honours degree in Business Management and takes an active role in credit union affairs.

In addition to taking care of our asset management clients, Ihsan leads our bureau de change operations.

Kavelle Savary

Kavelle Savary, our Client Relations Officer, ensures that you are satisfied with our services from the moment you contact us. She interfaces with our asset management clients, works with the team to formulate and execute our communications and marketing initiatives and operates our Bureau de Change.

With previous experience in Youth Development and Creative Arts, her natural ease with people, adaptability and a drive to succeed, Kavelle syncs with the progressive goals of Firstline.

Gerard Stephens

Gerard Stephens, account executive, works with Firstline’s institutional clientele. He joined us out of the commercial banking sector with experience in a diverse range of fixed income products such as repurchase agreements and corporate bonds. This breadth of knowledge serves our varied clientele well for each unique need.

Gerard holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Howard University and is currently pursuing his M.Sc. in International Finance at the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business.

Dion Israel

Dion Israel, Account Executive works with Firstline’s individual clientele. He brings to the table a diverse work experience, with ten years in the financial services industry and seven in the energy sector. His expertise lies in the areas of sales, business development and service excellence all of which are instrumental in acquiring and maintaining our customer loyalty.

Dion holds certificates in Omega Consumer Lending and Project Management as well as an Advanced Diploma in Petroleum Engineering Technology from The University of Trinidad and Tobago.

Neil Williams

Neil Williams, our sales and business development consultant, has over ten years experience in the financial services sector with extensive knowledge in credit and personal banking. He also has a wealth of experience in advertising and marketing with a passion for serving others.

Neil holds certificates in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Fundamentals of Purchasing and Business Writing for Professionals. He is presently at the final stage of completing a BA in Business and Finance with plans of pursuing a M. Sc. in same.

Michael Cooper

Michael Cooper, our New York-based trading & strategy consultant, has a wide range of global experience, from managing business development for an internet startup to working in the energy field as a broker, private equity analyst and policy analyst. He has worked as a trader where he developed and implemented two proprietary high frequency trading strategies that outperformed their benchmarks.

At Firstline, his portfolio includes research, analysis, and development of investment strategies, as well as corporate finance. He earned a Bachelor’s in Political Science from Middlebury College.
